Wildlife Photographer of the Year
23 September - 5 November 2017
Wildlife Photographer of the Year harnesses the power of photography to promote the discovery, understanding and responsible enjoyment of the natural world.
It showcases the hundred exceptional images chosen as the winners of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition organized by the Natural History Museum, London.
Selected for their artistic merit and originality from nearly 50,000 entries, the photographs have been created by both amateur and professional photographers.
Alongside each picture is the story of how it was taken and what it reveals. The categories include fascinating wild animal behavior, dramatic landscapes, intricate details and thought-provoking unforgettable reportage - a collection that is both a celebration of life on earth and a reminder of the human pressures on the natural world.
